Frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between SD, DD and SDD wigs?
  • Single Drawn abbreviated SD is hair drawn from one contributor and therefore replicates the genuine hairline we have. Due to its all-natural surface each strand of hair will have various sizes. As you recognise with natural hair growing from our scalp, each hair will expand differently.
  • Whereas DD known as Double Drawn have workers remove uneven hair strands by hand. The hair is organised in equal lengths providing you with thick and full hair from root to tip.
What quality are HairNova wigs?
  • Our classic range are all silky Peruvian hair. Easy to style and maintain at affordable prices.
  • Our Silver collection includes single drawn hair of high quality. These wigs allow you to achieve a natural look and feel.
  • Our Gold collection includes double drawn premium wigs with a high density and a thick finish from origin to end.
  • Our exclusive Platinum collection is Peruvian coloured hair.
What are the different lace types?
  • A Lace Frontal is used to achieve a natural hairline covering 4 inches to the back and 13 inches across from ear - ear.
  • A Glueless wig comes in 4x4 inches in size. Generally only covers the middle section of the hairline. It can be worn with or without glue.
Can I style and change the parting of my wig?
  • Parting can be performed to any desirable style with a lace frontal. A 4x4 lace closure can only be parted in three ways; the middle, slight side and a free part. A T-part lace can only be parted in the middle.
Do I receive a HairNova wig customised?
